Resident of Bihar who has passed 12th standard (Intermediate) from a recognized Bihar educational board or school, aged up to 25 years, enrolled in an approved course in an accredited institute in Bihar or across India.

Limited to ₹4 Lakh max; only covers courses listed in the 42 approved course schedules; student must visit District Registration and Counseling Center (DRCC) in person for biometric verification; unapproved colleges or courses not on NAAC/NBA roster are rejected; if student fails or abandons course, loan is frozen.

Female students, transgender persons, and persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) pay only 1.00% simple interest per annum.
