1. Minimum & Maximum Bands

The 1% fuel surcharge waiver is strictly valid only when the swipe amount falls between specified thresholds (usually ₹400/₹500 minimum and ₹3,000/₹4,000 maximum per single transaction).

2. Monthly Waiver Caps

The waiver is not unlimited. Issuers cap the maximum fuel surcharge refund between ₹100 and ₹250 per statement billing cycle. Swipes beyond this cap incur the standard 1% merchant surcharge.

3. PSU Merchant POS Binding

To receive accelerated reward points (e.g. 24X on BPCL Octane or 20X on IndianOil Axis), the card must be swiped at an authorized, brand-matching PSU outlet on bank-certified EDC swipe machines.
