Direct financial assistance of ₹1,200 per month credited directly via DBT to destitute elderly citizens. Beneficiaries are also entitled to 4 kg of free rice per month through the Public Distribution System (PDS) and one free saree/dhoti set during Pongal and Deepavali festivals.
