Delivers two-fold agrarian security to farmers and recorded sharecroppers (Bhagchasis) in West Bengal. Component 1 (Krishak Bandhu Assured Income) provides direct cash assistance of ₹10,000 per acre per year (disbursed in two equal seasonal installments of ₹5,000 during Kharif and Rabi seasons). Even marginal farmers with landholdings under 1 acre receive a guaranteed minimum of ₹4,000 per year (₹2,000 per season). Component 2 (Krishak Bandhu Death Benefit) provides a one-time insurance grant of ₹2,00,000 (₹2 Lakh) to the legal heirs upon the demise of any registered farmer or sharecropper aged 18 to 60 years.

- 1Collect Krishak Bandhu application form from the local Assistant Director of Agriculture (ADA) office or Duare Sarkar camps.
- 2Attach current land record (RoR / Porcha) or recorded sharecropper certificate (Barga certificate).
- 3Provide Aadhaar card, voter card, bank passbook, and nominee details for the death benefit.
- 4Field verification conducted by Krishi Prayukthi Sahayak (KPS) and Assistant Director of Agriculture.
- 5Digital Krishak Bandhu card issued; seasonal installments credited directly to bank account via DBT.
