1. Visit the official PMFBY National Crop Insurance Portal (https://pmfby.gov.in) or use the Crop Insurance App. 2. Click on "Farmer Corner" and register with mobile number and Aadhaar. 3. Select State, Scheme (PMFBY), Season (Kharif/Rabi), Year, and select the notified crop and plot Survey/Khasra number. 4. Upload land records, sowing certificate, and bank passbook. 5. Pay the nominal farmer share of premium online or enroll through local Commercial Bank/CSC/Primary Agricultural Credit Society (PACS). 6. In the event of localized calamity or post-harvest loss, report within 72 hours via the Crop Insurance App or toll-free number 14447 for immediate survey.
